None other than Jeffrey Campbell can make us swoon like this, sending our creative brain into overdrive thinking of all the possible outfits to pair with a burnished masterpiece of this nature. Named Lotus, these 6-inchers are far from delicate.

The Jewish Christmas Eve Chinatown Express Guide
Oh goy! While all of your gentile friends will be off with their families on December 24th celebrating the birth of baby Jesus, you, the Jew, will most likely be chowing down on Chinese food and catching a flick at the theater. This isn’t discrimination – those are my plans, too. The only questions that remain: where to go and what to wear? We’ve scouted out a few restaurants all over town, wherever your priorities lie. Authentic food? Open seating? Free wine?? Yeah, we’ve got you covered. Merry Christmakah.
The Versace x H&M Resort Lookbook
Every look from Versace x H&M‘s online-only resort collection has hit the interwebs. And it’s not that great. More like Versace for Kohl’s, the pieces look cheap and bland compared to the massively successful original. Perhaps it’s no big loss that this line isn’t available in the states, but only in countries where H&M offers e-commerce, such as the UK, Germany, the Netherlands, Denmark, Sweden and Norway. Click through to discover what you’re (not) missing — although I do see a lovely black robe I wouldn’t mind getting drunk in during the mornings.
Elizabeth Taylor Jewelry Auction Sets World Record, Selling for Over $115 Million
Leave it to Elizabeth Taylor to go out with a bang worthy of a movie star. The auction of Taylor’s — “impressive” seems to be a gross understatement at this point — epic jewelry collection was expected to raise $30 million, but by the time the last bid was placed, the 80 lots fetched a staggering $115,932,000, drop-kicking the record for a private collection previously established by the Duchess of Windsor‘s $50,281,887 auction in 1987.

Thank You for Buying a Friend: Rue McClanahan’s Possessions Up for Auction
Move over Liz Taylor, you ain’t got nothin’ on Blanche Devereaux. While the legendary Mrs. Taylor-Hilton-Wilding-Todd-Fisher Burton-Burton-Warner-Fortensky may have had enough jewels to shower the East Coast in White Diamonds, who wouldn’t want some treasured Golden Girls memorabilia? Rue McClanahan sadly passed away last June, but before her death she made sure that she left her fans a bit of herself. Now her son, Mark Bish, is fulfilling his mother’s wishes in a series of auctions of the star’s possessions across the country starting December 17.

Matisyahu Shaved his Face!
Say so long to Matisyahu the obvious Jew and hello to Matisyahu, the artist formerly known as the only known reggae-rapping Chassidic Jew. He took a blade to his face, and with it he gained freedoms, and a kind of creepy prison-looking instagram. Who knew that underneath the tufts of facial hair and pais was a cute, skinny Eminemish lookin’ dude. He posted his reasoning behind the shearing on his blog this morning – read it here.
Marion Cotillard Stars in “L.A.dy Dior” by John Cameron Mitchell
Dior turned to director and purveyor of the angry inch John Cameron Mitchell to inject the staid fashion film formula with some much-needed schtick for its latest short, L.A.dy Dior. Marion Cotillard does what she does best — cry and act hysterical, but this time sans the gravitas — as a tortured actress named Margaux on the verge of a nervous breakdown.

Is Dior About to Hire Raf Simons Away from Jil Sander?
The answer is a potential “Yup” — seems like Marc Jacobs is out and Raf Simons is in. Sources close to Christian Dior tell WWD that the luxury house is close to signing the Belgian designer, but there are a few obstacles in the way, such as Simons’ recently extended contract with Jil Sander.
Three East Village Shops with Coats to Die Faux
Inspired by Kate Lanphear lauding the East Village as her shopping stomping grounds, I plucked my bum up off the interwebs and hit the road. I dropped myself off on E. 9th Street and journeyed eastbound and up. What struck my fancy in a few stores in particular were the awesome caliber of faux fur jackets, which usually just strike me as faux pas. In case you don’t have a few thou to spend on a few animals’ worth of jacket, try these real life finds in these fantastic indie boutiques.

Allegedly, picking out a wedding dress makes most women want to pull their hair out. Surely, it’ll be several decades until I learn firsthand. It’s a bridal shop that finds the best designs by top designers like Vera Wang, Valentino and more, but also finds some extremely well crafted designs that will leave some funds left over for the honeymoon. With an array of evening wear and an entire section devoted to the LBD, it’s more than just bridal. Franca Sozzani Admits It Was a Mistake Taking Down Karlie Kloss Photo
Remember this photo of a contorted Karlie Kloss by Steven Meisel? Well, some people might not since Franca Sozzani and the kids at Vogue Italia took it down from the magazine’s website after it started appearing on pro-anorexia websites. Sozzani took to her blog today to dispel any rumors and explain her reasoning behind the decision:
25 Top Fashion Moments of 2011
‘Twas one hell of a year for fashion, 2011. Alexander McQueen triumphed this year thanks to a pair of well-documented dresses and a bona fide cultural phenomenon at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Christian Dior tried to rebound from a potential PR nightmare, to varying degrees of success. Diffusion lines easily out-shined their designer homes. An editrix reinvented herself amidst a sea of rumors without losing a beat. And underaged fashionistas grew up in front of our very eyes. Here are our picks for the 25 most memorable and stylish moments of 2011.

Kendall Jenner for Lovecat Magazine: She Loves Exclamation Points
I’m so tired of hearing about the Kardashian klan, I could just keel. But cute younger sis twins Kylie and Kendall Jenner are the prettiest, plastic surgery and diet pill-free (at least we think) siblings of the bunch. Lovecat Magazine thinks so too, as the publication recently interview Kendall for Issue 3. One thing we’ve learned from the Q&A? Jenner loves exclamation points, maybe a little too much.
