Whiptease: Demi Moore Did Whip-Its, Smoked “Not Marijuana” Prior to Seizure
It’s been a hard week for Demi Moore. After being rushed to the hospital last Monday, Moore’s dirty laundry has been very publicly airing on the lines of the Hollywood gossip machine. The latest bit of dirt to be dug up is the 911 phone call made prior to Moore’s hospitalization. A friend told paramedics that the actress had been doing whip-its — nitrous oxide, a favorite pastime among the young and the tasteless — and was smoking something that was apparently “not marijuana” which led to her seizures.

Adriana Lima is Smoking Hot on the Cover of Vogue Brasil
Adriana Lima has us in quite a flutter over her February 2012 Brazilian Vogue cover. The luscious feather ruff collar stands at our attention while a smoked eye smolders around her piercing stare. A nude lip, just a touch less tan than the rest of her, pouts as if to say, I’m clearly no stranger to the cover of Vogue. The jewels glitzing beneath the feathers’ arch are nearly lost due to the impact of the Lima look.
‘The Help’ Takes Home Top Prizes at the 2012 SAG Awards
You know what Viola Davis‘ Screen Actors Guild Award says, “I beat Meryl.” The divine Ms. Davis won the Best Actress trophy last night, over fellow acting heavyweights Michelle Williams, Tilda Swinton, Glenn Close and of course Meryl Fucking Streep. Viola’s co-star in The Help, Octavia Spencer, continued her victory lap over the course of awards season with another Best Supporting Actress win, while the 1960s civil rights drama beat out Oscar front-runner The Artist for the Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture award, the equivalent of Best Picture. The Artist‘s Jean Dujardin, however, triumphed over bona fide A-listers George Clooney, Brad Pitt and Leonardo DiCaprio to win the Best Actor prize and Captain Von Trapp himself, Best Supporting Actor winner Christopher Plummer, is all but guaranteed an Oscar for his role in The Beginners. The Oscars are still four weeks away and while this awards year has been a bit of a snooze, the race is shaping up to be anyone’s game. Full list of 2012 SAG Award winners after the jump!
The Road to Progress: A Pennsylvania Middle School Bans Uggs
Could it be that people are finally beginning to see the light? And in that light did they manage catch themselves in an unsightly pair of Uggs? Seems so, at least in Pennsylvania where administrators at Pottstown Middle School have banned students from wearing “outdoor, open top boots.” The reason, however, has little to do with fashion or style.

Stuart Pearson Wright Wants You to Smile
LOOKBOOKS contributor explores the fantastical tattooed world of artist Stuart Pearson Wright. Check out the gallery of weirdly cool portraits below.
If there’s anything that separates a celebrity from the proletariat, its his or her ability to turn on the megawatt smile at the mere suggestion of a flash bulb. Artist Stuart Pearson Wright has built a small exhibition of portraits around the idea of capturing this automated response and the ensuing awkwardness and ambiguity that results in simply asking people to say cheese.

- The Fashion Fund is a new webseries that takes a look at the process behind the CFDA‘s annual award for up-and-coming designers. The first episode takes us behind the close doors of the committee that chose recent winner Joseph Altuzarra, featuring Anna Wintour in full HBIC mode. Flipping through the lookbook from Nice Collective, Anna purrs,”Well this is just generic…I mean, it’s fine. It’s not offensive.” And then she set it on fire and threw it in Jeffrey Kalinsky‘s face. Designer Daily: Gemma Redux
From a coveted studio in the CFDA Incubator, come the rough rocking metals and natural stones of Gemma Redux. The designer behind the smashing brand is Rachel Dooley, a former engineer and law student who took a short break from studying for the Bar exam to make a necklace, and never went back. Months later, her jewelry was cropping up in editorials for super major publications. Nearly each item I looked at in her webstore had the annotation, Featured in Nylon, Featured in T Magazine, Featured in Paper Magazine etc… Yesterday she dropped a film for the Spring 2012 collection that hit us close to home. So we asked her a few questions about the rocks that she’s got.

While the men’s fall 2012 season has been a decidedly gentlemanly affair so far, some designers — namely Dolce & Gabbana and Frankie Morello — chose to bare a little male model flesh between those incredibly-tailored suits, opulent furs and dramatic capes. This Male Model Humpday, we give you a sampling of the man candy Milan had to offer.
Designer Daily: Bordelle
Sometimes you can’t foresee who will wander in and make your career soar to new heights. Not long after the company’s formation in 2007, founder Alexandra Popa teamed with freelance designer Javier Suarez and developed Bordelle lingerie from the ground up. What they wanted to do was simple – bridge the gap between the ever-changing RTW market and static intimate apparel industry. The result is a body-conscious line with a smart S&M sensibility that unites the sexiness of inner-wear with the practicality of outerwear. The Spring 2012 collection is beautifully designed and deliciously risqué. Click for the gallery.

High Times with Rihanna: Pop Star Goes to Pot in Hawaii

Royal Ascot: The Official Dress Code New!
Royal Ascot is one of the most stellar dates in the British summer diary - 19 - 23 June, this year - and is famed for its bobbing sea of vibrant hats, feathers and such like. It's as much about the occasion of dressing as it is the racing... Well, a well-heeled man and lady could have a jolly good debate on the matter, at least.
The fashion desk has frequented the Royal Enclosure many a time and can confirm that the subject of dress code is strict and enforced - faux pas are not merely frowned upon. Trust us: you DON'T want to be the lady asked to leave the Champagne canopy for flashing too much shoulder.
Today, the official dress code for the Royal Meeting has been revealed (with accompanying shots of acceptable looks), to help visitors adhere to tradition and tilt a feathered hat in respect towards racing's favourite day.
